8.0. Service
8.13. Wheels and tires
Check the tire pressure
regularly:
200 kPa
ATTENTION:
If the tires burst and parts of
the wheel rims fly off they may
cause serious or fatal injury.
Install tires only if you have
the necessary experience and
equipment.
Always maintain the specified
tire pressure. Never inflate
tires above the recommended
pressure. Do not heat wheels or
tires or carry out welding work
on them. Heating tires may
cause them to burst because
heating greatly increases the
pressure in the tire. Welding
may deform or damage a wheel.
When inflating a tire select a
filler connection with a safety
strap and an extension hose
with sufficient length to allow
the operator to stand clear of
the tire during inflation.
Never stand in front of or on
the tire. Use a safety cage if
available.
Check wheels and tires daily
for low pressure, cuts, bulges,
damaged rims, missing wheel
studs or nuts.
