6.0. Before Using
6.2. Setting the working height
ATTENTION:
Only adjust the working
height when the P.T.O
shaft is switched off.
The working height is set be
raising or lowering the jockey
wheels on flat ground. Set the
jockey wheels evenly by
suitable selection of spacers
in the wheel holders on the
multi-maintenance head and lock
with spring clips.
Observe the following when
setting the working height:
Observe irregularities of
terrain (bumps).
Note the degree of wear of
the tines on the multi-
maintenance head
The dethatching blades must
not penetrate more than 5 mm
into the ground.
6.3. Setting the protection roller
The safety roller protects the
turf surface on uneven ground
by preventing the multi-
maintenance head tines from
penetrating the ground.
The holder of the protection
roller contains several
mounting boreholes (A).
Adjust the height of the
protection roller to suit the
requirements of the ground by
choosing different bores.
