7.14. DISASSEMBLING THE LEVERS TENSIONING SPRING

Carry out the operations described in
paragraphs: 7.7. “Disassembling the guards”,
only the anterior guard.
1.
Pull up the pedal opposite the spring that is
being disassembled, in order to unload the
spring as much as possible.
2.
Back off the screw

using a 5mm
hexagonal wrench, using a pliers to keep the
spring

Be careful because the spring might
remain slightly loaded, exerting
pressure on the screw ”b”.

3. Back off the screw

using a 3mm
hexagonal wrench to remove the screw, the
washer and the other two components used to
fix the spring.
During reassembly, remember to put all
the components in the proper order as
shown in the figure to side.

4. Remove the spring

To disassemble the cam:
1.
Disconnect the belt from the cam, as detailed
in the procedure 7.11. “footboard lever Belt
disassembly”.
2.
Back off the pin
