Follow the procedure step by step to correctly diagnose the problem. Take particular care with the
checks highlighted by circled numbers, which are described in detail below:
(1)
Carry out the troubleshooting procedure 6.15. “The telemetric heart rate signal is incorrect”.
(2)
Place the tester probes across pins
1
and
2
of connector
HD4
of the receiver. The measured
value should be +5 Vdc.
(3)
As for step (1) but across pins
1
and
6
of connector
CN4
on the display board or
CN19
on the
CPU board.
(4)
Check the earth connection of the machine using a tester to measure the resistance between
the ground pin on the power supply cable and the ground node to which the receiver is
connected inside the display. The value must be less than 1 Ohm.
If you replace Display board/Brake board, check that its SW version is updated,
otherwise install the last version.
