The Gateway Controller includes a command console accessible using the included serial
cable. You will need a serial port on your PC or a Serial to USB cable. All of the functions of
the console are available in the Web interface. The console can be used to find the IP address
or reset the factory settings if the Web interface is inaccessible.

The RJ-45 serial port on the Gateway Controller is the top left connector, above the USB
connectors. Connect the included serial cable to the RJ-45 serial connector and the DB-9
serial port connector on your PC or USB-Serial adapter. Start a serial terminal program on
your PC, like TeraTerm and start a console session. The serial port properties are:
Baud Rate: 115200
Data: 8 bit
Parity: none
Stop : 1 bit
Flow Control: none
