In addition to VPN Static IPs, you can create a pool of static IPs that will be shared by any
detected IPSec or PPTP VPN traffic on the Controller. This happens automatically and does
not require any action by the subscriber. You can enable Automatic VPN Static IPs under
Advanced – Automatic VPN Static IPs
. You must provide a contiguous range of Static IPs
on the Controller WAN port
under IP Address Start
and
IP Address End
. Please note that
this traffic is still NATed traffic, so some VPN clients may still require an unshared Static IP
Address assigned by the existing VPN Static IP feature.
