Installing the Charge Air Cooler (CAC)
and Hoses

Remove the OEM hose clamp from the cold side of the CAC and mount it onto
the supplied VMAC “cold side” hose.

Install the CAC onto the VMAC CAC relocation bracket (Figure 99).

Secure the CAC to the CAC relocation bracket. Install the fastener nearest the
firewall first using a VMAC supplied fastener. Reuse the OEM fastener in the
upper mount location (Figure 100).
