Place the batteries in the battery boxes and install the hold down clamps.
Ensure the ring terminals on the battery cables are adequately
insulated to prevent an electrical short.

Wrap the ring terminal end of the (×2) 2 AWG positive battery cables with tape
to prevent electrical shorts (Figure 84).

Apply dielectric grease to the battery terminals and connect the battery cables
to the battery (Figure 85, Table 2).
