Tighten the remaining battery box mount fasteners (Figure 88).

Install the safety cables onto the brackets.
When connecting the positive battery cable to the starter /
solenoid, avoid overtightening the nut as this can damage the
starter / solenoid.

Connect one end of the 1/0 AWG positive battery cable to the vehicle’s starter
/ solenoid post using the OEM nut (Figure 89).
