Poppet Valve
If the inlet or poppet O-ring is damaged or missing, the compressor
may over pressurize and may cause a compressor oil leak.
When the inlet valve poppet is closed, the compressor will not build air pressure
(Figure 55).
Air pressure generated by the compressor is controlled mechanically via the inlet
valve poppet.
When the inlet valve poppet is open, the compressor will build air pressure (Figure 54).
