industry standard safety practices.
Adjusting the Inlet Pressure Regulator
☐
Disconnect the PTFE tube connected to the unloader valve.
☐
Plug both sides of the Tee that the push-to-connect fittings are installed in (leave
the PTFE tube plugged into the bottom push-to-connect fitting) (Figure 41).

Prior to making any adjustments, run the system for a minimum of
3 minutes or until the WHASP Tank fan turns on, as all adjustments
must be made while the system at operating temperature.
System Adjustments
The G300004 is tuned at the factory for optimum performance and should not
require further adjustment.
This information is provided to assist operators in returning the system to factory
specifications in the event that it has been field adjusted and/or no longer
performs as intended.
When tuned correctly, the G300004 will operate at high rpm until the unit has
built to full system pressure (140 psi) and then will “unload” and reduce engine
speed to base idle.
In order for the system to “unload” and reduce engine speed, both the inlet
pressure regulator, and the unloader valve must be adjusted to the correct values.
Prior to adjusting the unloader valve, the inlet pressure regulator
must be set to 145 psi.
