Note that there is no connection to the
Cascade In
port of the master Xgig1000 chassis.
Do not connect the
Cascade Out
port on the last Xgig in the cascade to the
Cascade In
port of the master in a “loop”.
Chassis are numbered consecutively starting with the master. The ports are addressed in
a cascaded configuration by chassis number, blade number within the chassis, and port
number within the blade – for example, FC Port(1,2,3) refers to port 3 on blade 2 in
chassis 1.
