2 Utilities

Updating the firmware from StrataSync

You can also connect to StrataSync via Ethernet to update the firmware of your unit.

1. Connect the OneExpert to the AC charger adapter to ensure an uninterrupted supply

of power during the update.

2. Establish a wired Ethernet connection from your instrument to the intranet or

network.

3. Verify the ONX has a valid IP address (it should have been changed from the default

address of 192.168.0.*)

4. Go back to the Home screen, scroll down to the bottom,

and select

StrataSync

5. On the

StrataSync

screen, enter the following:

StrataSync Account ID

– Determined at Setup

Interface

– Ethernet ; DOCSIS. If set to DOCSIS,

firmware upgrades will be skipped without

warning.

NOTE

: This setting does not select the

communication interface – Ethernet or RF/DOCSIS.

This setting must be made via the

CATV

screen
