Decoder Warnings (MPEG Stream Errors)
playback is not active. If a
WRITE
is received when the decoder is not playing a
stream, the following error will be returned:
“Illegal request, write protected — MPEG Write while not playing.”
This will occur when:
• Playback has stopped and an
MPEG WRITE
was received.
• If more than twenty-four 64-K buffers are loaded between a
RESET BUFFER
and
the
MPEG PLAY
command.
Error Reporting
Reporting of MPEG Errors must be enabled using
DECODER
command with code
002Bh Error Mask.
To enable error reporting, set the bit to “1” in the 32-bits of data. A “0” disables
error reporting.
Decoder Warnings (MPEG Stream Errors)
The MPEG decoding hardware does not support this feature.
Video/Audio Channel Buffer Errors
The MPEG decoding hardware does not support this feature; however, audio/
video collision errors are supported in firmware.
