SCSI Command Error Conditions
TEST UNIT READY
Always returns Good status, except after power-up, SCSI Reset, or Bus Device
Reset.
“Illegal request, invalid field within CDB.” A reserved or specific field contains
invalid data.
(Playback status and error reporting may return other sense values. Refer to
“Error Reporting,” page 125.)
MPEG WRITE (WRITE 10)
“Illegal request, logical block address out of range.” Requested transfer length is
not a multiple of 64-K.
“Illegal request, write protected, MPEG Write while not playing.” A
WRITE
command
was received while the decoder was not currently playing. This error is also given if
more than 24 64-K buffers are loaded between a
RESET BUFFER
command and the
MPEG PLAY
command.
