The remote control unit is used to operate
the a nti-theft a la rm system.
To activate
Always ensure that the doors, bonnet,
tailgate, sunroof

a nd windows are
properly closed and that there a re no
passengers left in the vehic le before
activating a nti-theft ala rm system.

Loc k driver’s door by turning key in door
lock towards rear of vehicle then turn it
back to the v ertical position a nd remove;

Hazard w arning lights flash once,

All doors are locked ,

Anti-theft system is a ctiv ated after
approx. 30 seconds.
Confirm tha t the control indicator starts
flashing slowly, after illum inating for
approx. 30 seconds, to show that the anti-
theft system has been activa ted.
If button
p
is pressed aga in, the anti-theft
alarm system will activate automatically,
bypassing the 30 second dela y. This will
also ac tiv ate the mechanica l anti-theft
lock ing system.
If the hazard warning lights do not flash on
activation or the control indicator fla shes
quic kly, this may indicate that a door, the
tailg ate or the bonnet is not fully closed.

Warning
Do not use the system if there are
passengers in the vehic le. The doors
cannot be unlocked from the inside when
the alarm is ac tiv ated and when the
mechanical anti-theft locking system is
activated .

4. Switch on anti-theft alarm system.
Control indicator for anti-theft alarm
system illuminates. After a 30 second
delay, the system is activa ted without
monitoring of the passenger
compartment or vehicle tilt.
