reliab ility, safety and specific suitability for
your vehicle. Despite continuous market
monitoring, we ca nnot a ssess or guarantee
these attributes for other p roducts, even if
they have been granted approval by the
relevant authorities or in some other form.

Vauxhall Authorised Repairer, who can
provide comprehensive ad vice about
permitted technic al changes and ensure
that the p art is installed correctly.
A note on safety
To av oid the possibility of injury, only carry
out engine comp artment checks (e.g.
checking the brake fluid level or the engine
oil level) when the ignition is switched off.
N ever carry out any repairs or adjustment
and m aintenance work on the vehicle
yourself. This especially applies to the
eng ine, chassis a nd safety p arts. You may,
out of ignorance, infringe the provisions of
the law and, by not performing the work
properly, you may endanger yourself a nd
other road users.
Checking and topping up fluids
To aid identification, the engine oil filler
cap , the c oolant filler cap, the lid of the
fluid container for the w indscreen wash
system and the handle of the engine oil
gauge (dipstick) may be coloured yellow.

Warning
The cooling fan m ay be operated b y a
thermoswitch and ca n therefore start to
opera te unexpectedly, even when the
ignition is switched off; risk of injury.
Electronic ignition systems generate very
high voltages. Do not touch the ignition
system; hig h voltage can be fatal.
