CHAPTER 1

 Introduction

In This Guide

This guide provides instructions on installing, configuring and operating the 
Utah Scientific, Utah-400 Digital Signal Routing Switcher.  The following 
chapters and appendices are included:

Chapter 1

"Introduction" summarizes the guide, describes basic router operation and 
describes the hardware and software components of the Utah-400 Digital 
Routing Switcher.

Chapter 2

"Hardware Installation" provides instructions for installing the Utah-400 Dig-
ital Routing Switcher in your facility.
