Troubleshooting
Ring volume set to silent.
The
Silent volume
icon
in
the status bar shows that the
volume is set to silent.
Increase the volume by press-
ing the
Volume up
button or
by going on the handset in-
to the
Settings
>
Sound &
Alerts
>
Volume
.
Not possible to mute the hand-
set or set the ring volume to
“Silent”.
The handset is most likely
configured to restrict the user
from muting or setting the vol-
ume to silent.
Contact the system adminis-
trator for support. Ask to turn
off the
Prevent silent
parame-
ter to have no sound restric-
tions.
One of the following messages
appeared on the screen:
•
Remotely updated
•
Updating handset…
•
Handset is updated
New software has been in-
stalled or some parameters
have been remotely changed
on the handset
No action needed. Wait for the
handset to restart or start up.
Wrong time & date setting.
PBX dependent. The handset
hasn't received the right time
and date after a change in the
system
– Switch the handset off and
on again.
– Wait maximum 24 hours for
the changes to appear.
– If still wrong, contact the sys-
tem administrator for support.
No channel available
The handset did not receive
the expected answer from the
PBX during call setup, or the
user attempts to make a call
when the handset is displaying
Messaging only
.
Make another call (when the
handset is not showing
Mes-
saging only
). If the hand-
set does not work after anoth-
er try, contact the system ad-
ministrator.
Error or Warning Messages
Error or warning messages appear directly on the handset’s display and contain a short informa-
tion about current technical problems. In such cases, you can see one of the following texts:

No network
•
No access
•
No channel available
