If the Smart Loopback/Command Codes Op-

tion is installed, perform the following procedure to
verify its operation.

Test setup

Prepare the T-BERD 107A for testing in
accordance with the Instrument Checkout
Basic Setup procedure.

AUX and PATTERN switch

Press the

AUX

switch to activate the auxiliary

functions. Press the

PATTERN

switch to

verify the AUX SMARTNET function is
available.

CATEGORY and RESULTS switches

Press the

CATEGORY

switch to select ILR

(intelligent line repeaters). Press the

RE-

switch to select an intelligent line

repeater manufacturer and model (e.g.,
