Problems with the software

ROM.
Look at the original CD-
ROM.
The installation of
Ulead Photo
Express cannot be
completed.
A company name has not
been entered.
A company name has to be
entered. A single letter is
sufficient.
Windows 98 or Windows 95
is used.
The software only works
correctly in Windows 98 SE,
Windows ME, Windows
2000 and Windows XP.
The USB port does not work
correctly.
Test the USB port using a
different device or see the
USB troubleshooter at
www.trust.com.
The camera has not been
connected to the computer.
Connect the USB cable.
The error message
‘Fail connect to
device, please try
again’ is displayed
after opening the
Camera Manager.
The window
opens, but I
cannot obtain files
from the camera’s
memory.
The drivers have not been
installed correctly.
Uninstall the drivers, remove
the USB cable and reinstall
the drivers.
The camera does
not give an image
in the application
(webcam).
Another application is open
and is using the camera
image.
Close the other application
first before starting the
program.
An old version of DirectX is
installed.
Download the latest version
of DirectX from
www.microsoft.com/directx.
A live recording
gives a displaced
image and the
wrong colours.
Drivers for an old webcam
are still installed.
Find these drivers and
uninstall them (see chapter
7.1).
The monitor has not been
set correctly.
Compare the photograph to
other photographs (for
example, on the Internet)
where you known the colour
is correct. Adjust your
monitor correctly (see the
instruction manual provided
with your monitor).
The background lighting is
not white.
Change the lighting. If this
does not help, use Photo
Express to edit the colour.
The printer has been set
incorrectly.
If the photographs look good
on your monitor, check your
printer settings.
Photographs are
discoloured on the
monitor or when
printed.
An inkjet printer has a
blocked ink cartridge.
