Attaching the wrist strap
You can attach the wrist strap to the camera for optimal ease of use and safety.
1.
Insert the thin end of the wrist strap through the eye (16, figure 1).
2.
Make a loop from the part of the wrist strap which has been inserted through
the eye.
3.
Thread the other end of the wrist strap through the loop.
5.4 Stand
You can use the stand to hold the camera still when, for example, using the
automatic exposure button to take a detailed photograph. You can also use the
stand when you use the camera as a webcam for videoconferencing.
1.
Screw the stand into place on the bottom of the camera (see figure 7).
2.
Unfold the feet, unlock the stand using the handle and place the camera in
the desired position.
3.
Lock the stand by placing the handle back in the starting position.

Structure of the menu
Use the tables below and figure 2 to familiarize yourself with the camera’s menu.
You can use the menu to configure the camera as desired. The menu for each mode
(Photo, Camera and Playback) can be configured separately.
Carry out the following to open the menu:
1.
Turn the camera (see chapter 6.1).Select the desired mode (Camera, Photo,
Playback) (4, figure 1 and table 1).
3.
Press the MENU/OK button (14, figure 1 and table 2) to open the menu.
4.
Use the UP (12, figure 1 and table 2) and DOWN buttons (13, figure 1 and
table 2) to scroll through the menu.
5.
Press the MENU/OK button to select an item.
6.
You can close the menu by selecting ‘Exit’ or by pressing the EXPOSURE
button (1, figure 1 and table 1).
