Follow the instructions given below to record video clips using the camera.
1.
Turn the camera on (see chapter 6.1).
2.
Set the camera to the Camera mode (4, figure 1).
3.
Press the exposure button to start the recording. The video images that are
being recorded will be displayed on the LCD screen.
The camera will also record the sound.
The indicator on the camera will flash red.
4.
Press the exposure button again to stop recording.
The focus must be set correctly when recording a video clip of an object at a
distance of between 30 and 60 cm. See chapter 6.2.1 for instructions on how to
focus the camera correctly.
Note:
The sound is not recorded in CD quality. You can compare the sound
quality to a telephone conversation.
6.3.1 Effect
Video clips can be digitally edited to give them a special effect.
•
Normal: no effect is added.
•
B&W: The photograph is monochrome (black-and-white).
The effects are selected using the menu (item 1) (see chapter 5.5.2).

Viewing photographs and video clips
Once you have taken some photographs or recorded video clips, you can view them
on the LCD screen. Follow the instructions given below.
1.
Turn the camera on (see chapter 6.1).
2.
Set the camera to the Playback mode (4, figure 1). The last photograph of
video clip will be displayed on the LCD screen.
3.
Use the control buttons (12 and 13, figure 1) to view the next/previous
photograph or video clip on the LCD screen.
If a video clip is displayed, it will play immediately.
Note:
Sound is
not
produced when a video clip is played on the camera.
Sound is produced when the video clip is played on a computer.
6.4.1
Deleting one photograph or video clip
See the instructions given below to delete one photograph or video clip.
1.
Turn the camera on (see chapter 6.1).
2.
Set the camera to the Playback mode (4, figure 1). The last photograph or
video clip will be displayed on the LCD screen.
3.
Use the control buttons (12 and 13, figure 1) to scroll to the photograph or
video clip you wish to delete.
4.
Press the MENU/OK button (14, figure 1).
5.
Select ‘Delete One’ from the menu and press the MENU button.
6.
Select ‘Yes’ and press the MENU button to delete the photograph or video
clip.
Select ‘No’ and press the MENU button if you do not wish to delete the
selected photograph or video clip.
7.
Close the menu by pressing the exposure button.
