Temperature Control (Cont'd)
The thermoelectric cooler is monitored on this window. The average power
being put into the device to maintain the well temperature is displayed. Under
normal room ambient conditions, the power level should range from 2 to 6 Watts.
At elevated temperatures, the power increases. The resistance of the cooler
device is measured while it is turned on. An instantaneous reading is displayed.
TRICOR expects this information to be valuable when troubleshooting customer
problems. You may be asked to check these numbers.

The
Status
tab displays information about the Model 225 unit that is connected.
The
Internal Power
group displays the internal voltages and currents that are
monitored. The main power supply is 28 volts and the top reading. A critical
internal reference voltage is next and should be 2.5 volts.
The remainder of the information displayed is self-explanatory.
