3. ENTERING VARIOUS FUNCTIONS
Terminal ID Entry

Displaying the TERMINAL ID Menu.
Press:

Enter your Terminal ID (company name) (up to 40
characters) using the Keyboard and Numeric
Keypad. Then press the
key.

Select the COUNTRY CODE.
• If you send or receive documents to and from overseas
locations, select “1. YES” by pressing
.
• If all of the documents are sent domestically, select “2. NO,”
by pressing
.

Enter your telephone number and press the
key.
• If you press
in Step 3, + is displayed on the screen.
Enter International Code for your country before entering
your area code and telephone number.
Once programmed, Terminal ID information will be printed on the leading edge of all documents transmitted
by this digital copier/facsimile.
• Details to Enter: ID name (max. 40 characters)
Printing of international code (ON/OFF)
ID number (max. 20-digit number)
Tip
• ID information is sent printed about 5 mm from the top edge of the original.
• In compliance with FCC regulations (see page 1), this facsimile places your company’s name,
facsimile telephone number and date & time on the top of all transmitted documents. This feature
enables remote parties to easily identify your documents and the time of transmission.
