1. Open a web browser on a PC.
Note
Open a web browser using a single PC. It may not operate
properly if multiple PCs have accessed.
2. Enter the Digital Video Recorder’s network IP address into
the web browser address. (Refer to
p. 90
; Network setting.)
The authentication screen is displayed.
3. Enter an account name and a password.
There are no default passwords.
Administrator account name: root
User account name: user
Note
It is recommended that WEB Administrator password be set.
The PC user could change the settings if the password is not
set. (Refer to
p. 90
; Network setting.)
4. Click on "LOGIN" to display the top page.
Notes
• If an incorrect account name or password has been entered,
the display reverts to the authentication screen.
• The network connection is temporarily cut off when the
recorder is reactivated or placed in standby mode. Please
wait for a while, and log in again.
31.4. How to Log In
There are two types of accounts: "Administrator" accounts and "User" accounts.
Administrator account can access to all operations, while User account can access to the limited operations:
live image monitoring; notification by LED indicator and camera control.
31.4.1. Access inhibit
Up to 3 PCs are connectable. Up to 3 user accounts are accessible. Only one administrator account is
accessible. If an administrator account is registered into 1 PC, then up to 2 more PCs can be connected with
user accounts.
If the number of connected persons reaches the maximum limit, further operation is prohibited and the
following screen is displayed. Also, if 1 PC is connected with the administrator account, then logging in to the
second PC with the administrator account will cause the same screen to be displayed.
The maximum number of users are connected please try again later.
Pressing the "OK" button returns the display to the authentication screen.
