Now take off the humidifier cover.
Warm drinking water provides maximum com-
fort by rapid warming and humidification of the
respiratory air. The use of cold water and an
immediate start of therapy can cause a tem-
porary burning sensation in the nose and lessen
patient comfort.

Pull the housing lid of the humidifier
unit toward you and lift it off. Hold
the unit while removing the lid to
prevent sliding.

- Do not allow moisture to penetrate into
the inside of the unit!
- Do not jerkily move or transport the hu-
midifier unit after filling the reservoir with
water and putting it into the humidifier
unit. Otherwise, proper functioning of the
unit can not be guaranteed. Remove the
reservoir BEFORE transporting, tilting or
moving the humidifier unit.
