4.6 Self-test
The MIRUS Controller software contains self-test capabilities that verify whether the software,
the pneumatic and electrical components, the MIRUS Reflector and the gas monitor work
properly.
These self-tests are (in sequential order)
•
Power up test
•
System test
The Power up test of the MIRUS Controller
starts as soon as the device is connected to a
line supply and Confirm button has been
pressed.
During Power up test all safety relevant
components will be tested.
In case of a malfunction, the MIRUS
Controller displays a message on the screen
after the Power up test is complete.
If the MIRUS Reflector is hooked up, and
there is no malfunction detected during Power
up test, the MIRUS Controller directly starts
the System test without any user activity.
