5.1.5 Filling during operation
CAUTION
Hazard to persons if volatile anaesthetic accumulates in the
environment around the patient.
Observe the Instructions for use of the bottle adapter.
Avoid spilling liquid volatile anaesthetic.
The fill valve below the fill port flap must never be pressed down
manually.
CAUTION
Risk to patient from underdosing during the filling process.
If the internal pressure of the vaporiser unit of the MIRUS Controller drops
too sharply during filling, the anaesthetic gas is no longer supplied.
Monitor the patient's etVA concentration while the MIRUS Controller
is being filled.
IMPORTANT Equipment damage caused by using bottle adapters not compatible
with the MIRUS Controller filling system.
Only use compatible bottle adapters.
This means ensuring that the colour coding of the bottle adapter,
the fill port collar, and the bottle matches that of the volatile
anaesthetic being filled.
