Hazardous materials
and infectious agents
Instruments, components, accessories and other associated materials may
not be returned to Thermo Fisher Scientific or other accessory
manufacturers if they are contaminated with radioactive or other hazardous
materials, infectious agents, or any other materials and/or conditions that
could pose a health or injury hazard to employees.

Fire safety
and burn hazards
To avoid a burn injury and the risk of fire or explosion, follow these
guidelines:

Avoid testing flammable or explosive samples.
•
If the instrument will be purged, use a clean, nonflammable purge gas.
•
Always engage the vortex or other cooler when the ambient
temperature at the installation site exceeds the safe operating
temperature for your model.
