Use the following procedure to replace the fan. 
Equipment required: 

Phillips drive, #2 

1.

 

Turn instrument OFF, unplug power cord, and remove the cover 

(

Figure 2–1

). 

2.

 

Unplug the fan cable J18.

Starting with top right corner, pull out to remove fan cover. 

4.

 

Unhook the four latches of the fan cover. 

5.

 

Unfasten the four 6-32 screws from the fan housing. 

6.

 

Replace fan and reassemble in reverse order.
