2—Installation and Operation

Installation Procedures

Locate and remove the two mounting screws, one at each end of the assembly.

Disconnect the wiring header from each fan.

Remove the fan assembly.

To replace the fan assembly, align the mounting holes in the fan assembly with
the mounting holes on the chassis.

Insert and tighten the mounting screws in the mounting holes.

Connect each fan wiring header.

Replace the protective top cover as indicated in Section 2.1.1, “Remove Pro-
tective Top Cover,” on page 2-1.
