Themis Computer
The 1U chassis height restricts the motherboards from using full-height vertical PCI-
e cards. Riser cards are used to allow the use of horizontally mounted full-height
PCI-e cards where indicated in
Table 1-2 . Details of horizontal PCI-e card mounting
are found in Chapter 2, page 2-11.
Where there are differences in the features of the different motherboard configura-
tions, those differences are shown in
Table 1-2 .
I/O panel views for each motherboard option begin on page 1-8. Block diagrams for
each of the motherboard families are shown beginning on page 1-11
1.1.1 External Features
The RES-XR4-1U front panel houses three removable storage drives.
Storage drive requirements should be ordered at the time of purchase. Also included
on the front panel is a combination CD-RW/DVD-ROM Slimline drive, an ON/OFF
