Rack-Mount Slide Installation

An

optional

set of two rack-mount slides (left side and right side) is available for all

RES systems, and should be ordered at the time of purchase. The RES-XR4-1U
chassis contains nine threaded screw holes on each side to accommodate M4x6mm
size screws (included with the rack-mount slide kit); steel slides require four mount-
ing holes, and aluminum slides require three mounting holes (see

Figure B-1

).

Dimensions of the screw-hole patterns on the sides of the RES-XR4-1U chassis for
installing rack-mount slides are shown in

Figure B-1

. The required holes for a spe-

cific steel or aluminum slide will have to be measured before installation.
