Themis Computer
The RES-12DCX is designed within a 1RU-high (1.75”) form-factor 20” (50.8 cm)
deep and 17” (43.2 cm) wide (which, with mounting brackets, fits a 19”-wide rack)—
see
Figure 1-3 . Usable I/O expansion is supported through two horizontal PCI slots
mounted on PCI Riser Cards inserted into Slot 6, Slot 7, and one or more of the three
PCI-
Express slots of the motherboard. Slot 6 can accommodate a full-length (12.28”)
card and Slot 7 a half-length (6.87”) card.
Depending on the Riser Card selected, PCI-card configurations include:
• Two PCI- Express (x8) cards
• Two PCI-X cards, one 133 MHz (Slot 6) and one 100 MHz, ZCR (Slot 7)
• One PCI- Express (x8) card and one 100-MHz, 64-bit (Slot 7) or 133-MHz, 64-
bit (Slot 6) PCI-X card (see Figure 1-3)
