Rack-Mount Slide Installation

set of two rack-mount slides (left side and right side) is available for all

RES-12 systems, and should be ordered at the time of purchase. The RES-12DCX
chassis contains nine threaded screw holes (see

Figure B-1

) on each side to accom-

modate #8-32 size screws (included with the rack-mount slide kit). Remember that
steel slides and aluminum slides may require different mounting holes and may also
share one or more mounting holes.

Dimensions of the screw-hole patterns on the sides of the RES-12DCX chassis for
installing rack-mount slides are shown in

Figure B-1

. The required holes for a spe-

cific steel or aluminum slide will have to be measured before installation.
