The lengths of the flags are configured in the barcode event settings on TOMEs. Only
parts of the same length can be compared to each other.
[NOTE] In the barcode event settings on TOMEs, it is possible to program additional
barcode checks.
7.3 Communication settings
The communication settings define how T-RAC II should connect to TOMEs or to TOMEs
Mobile Collection Tool. These settings can only be changed on each T-RAC II device
individually. Following settings are available:
Static/dyn IP
stat / dyn Default: dyn
stat: T-RAC II will use a static IP-address. This IP-address, the subnet mask and
the gateway IP-address can be defined in the settings
‘Static IP’, ‘Subnet
mask’ and ‘Gateway IP’.
dyn:
T-RAC II will receive an IP-address automatically from the router via DHCP.
The settings ‘Static IP’, ‘Subnet mask’ and ‘Gateway IP’ are not available.
Static IP
000.000.000.000 – 255.255.255.255 Default: 192.168.001.002
This setting is only available when the option ‘Static/dyn IP’ is set to ‘stat’. It defines
the IP-address of the T-RAC II.
Subnet mask
000.000.000.000 – 255.255.255.255 Default: 255.255.255.000
This settin g is only available when the option ‘Static/dyn IP’ is set to ‘stat’. It defines
the subnet mask of the T-RAC II.
Gateway IP
000.000.000.000 – 255.255.255.255 Default: 192.168.001.001
This setting is only available when the option ‘Static/dyn IP’ is set to ‘stat’. It defines
the IP-address of the gateway the T-RAC II will connect to.
TOMEs IP
000.000.000.000 – 255.255.255.255 Default: 192.168.1.100
This setting defines the IP-address of the TOMEs device or the PC running TOMEs Mobile
Collection Tool that T-RAC II should communicate with.
