To fit or remove the ankle huggers from the foot plate (e.g. for washing) thread the strap
through the mounting bracket as shown in figures 6.12.4 to 6.12.7 above.
Note: The above instructions are for guidance only as other styles of ankle huggers may
be fitted.
Important:
•
The ankle huggers are intended for positioning only and are not to be used as a
restraint for transportation.
•
Do not over tighten the ankle huggers. Always ensure the occupant is comfortable.
Note: If ankle huggers are supplied after purchase of your pushchair, please follow the
manufacturer’s fitting instructions. It may be necessary to change the fixings depending on
the size of footplate and type of ankle huggers provided. All required fixings will be
included. Fitting of the ankle huggers should only be done by a competent
tradesperson.

To fit toe straps: With the ‘cam lock’ to the
top of the foot plate, feed the strap through
the furthest slot in the foot tray.
