7.2. Insertion scheme of the device as IP SIP door phone interface
AA-600 is connected to the PBX via the LAN on the RJ-45 port. The relay contacts will be used to operate an
electric lock and/or for example a lamp at the entrance to the gate or for the pedestrian gate and/or driveway gate.
The figures below show connection examples of AA-600:
•
The visitor who presses one of the keys will be put in contact with the internal extension of the operator
who will be able to decide to activate the electric lock and give him access to the company from his
telephone. In the same way it is possible to decide to open the driveway instead to make him enter with the
vehicle.
•
The operator who has been able to video monitor the installation area of AA-600-IP remains the possibility
to directly operate the two possible access routes without waiting for the visitor to press the buttons to
make the call on the Doorphone.
•
During the Night service, the operator is no longer present in the company, the call can be made to a
phone number of a caller who, for special needs, could open the gates and make enter the visitor remotely
from his mobile phone.
•
The two integrated relays could be used, in the other case, one for the gate and the second to activate a
lighting system for the entrance area.
Conversion of a traditional Doorphone with push-button panel into a VoIP-SIP one
Traditional
Doorphone
By means of the AA-697/P16 interface it is possible to adapt an external doorphone with push-button
panel up to 16 buttons to the VoIP module AA-600. Each button will activate a Peer-to-Peer call to a
specific address that will reach the assigned extension. All extensions can operate the relays. In the
presence of an IP-PBX switchboard the functions are the same.

A traditional doorphone, of any brand, becomes a VoIP-SIP doorphone by installing the AA-600/SM51
module in the flush box powered by the UTP cable with PoE and replacing the loudspeaker and
microphone of the intercom with the indicated parts. The call button of the traditional intercom is
disconnected from the old circuitry and connected directly to the module. The 2 internal relays drive
the opening of the gate, lights, or other devices. In the absence of the PoE power supply, a local
220/12V-1A both DC and AC power supply can be connected to the module.
