First Light

8. Turn on the PI-MAX3 power supply.

NOTE:

The PI-MAX3 overload alarm may sound briefly and then 
stop. This is normal and is not a cause for concern.
However, if the alarm sounds continuously, even when 
there is no light entering the camera/spectrograph, there is 
something wrong. Turn off all power and contact Teledyne 
Princeton Instruments Customer Service for assistance.

information.

9. Turn on the host computer.
10. Launch WinX/32.
11. From the Setup menu, select Pulsers to display the Pulsers dialog. See 

Figure 6-1
