3.2.4 Install Optional Maintenance Switch

After all amplifiers and waveguide/combiner arrays have been installed, the optional

Maintenance Switch may be installed at the system RF output.

Attach the Maintenance Switch support to the adjacent uni-strut, using the hardware

provided. The mounting hardware was shipped in place from the factory.

Connect the Maintenance Switch at the RF Output of the 16-way system, just after the

dual crossguide coupler connected to the magic tee.

Insert an appropriately sized full gasket (provided) in the grooved flange of the

crossguide coupler. Connect the waveguide flange of the single crossguide coupler to

the flange of the dual crossguide coupler, as shown in

Figure 3-26
