3.1.3 Install Waveguide/Combiner Arrays
Follow the instructions in
Section 2.1.3
for installing the Waveguide/Combiner Arrays
for each 8-way portion of the 16-way system.
Note:
The waveguide/combiner arrays are labeled “S1.1.1”, “S1.2.1”,
“S2.1.1” and “S2.2.1”. Match the label on each waveguide/combiner array
with the label of the top-most SSPA module slot in the uni-strut frame.
Important! Check to ensure the waveguide installation is level and
square throughout. Minor adjustments may be made at the wave-
guide/combiner array brackets, and by using the level adjustment
screws on the magic tee termination supports.
3.1.4 Install High Power Outdoor SSPA Modules
Follow the instructions in
Section 2.1.4
for installing the High Power Outdoor SSPA
Modules for each 8-way portion of the 16-way system.
Note:
Match the identification label on the SSPA module with the la-
bel on the slot in the un-strut frame into which it will be inserted.
3.1.5 Install 8-Way Output Magic Tees and Terminations
Follow the instructions in
Section 2.1.5
for installing the Output Magic Tees for each
8-way portion of the 16-way system.
Install the flexible waveguide segments between each Waveguide/Combiner Array and
the Output Magic Tees, as described in
Section 2.1.5.3
.
