3.1.2.8 Install System Termination Upper Support Uni-Strut (45 Inch)
Install the two segments of system termination upper support uni-strut between the two
8-way systems as shown in
Figure 3-11
. These segments are mounted to the 18-
inch segments of uni-strut between the uni-strut frames of each 8-way system.
Note that the hardware shipped in-place is slightly different in each uni-strut segment.
Make sure to align the hardware used to secure the system RF distribution box with
the segment installed in
Section 3.1.2.7
.
If the system includes the optional maintenance switch, the other uni-strut segment in-
cludes the hardware used to install the maintenance switch support bracket, and the
cable interface bracket.
