Performance Tests

This section contains a collection of procedures for checking that the RSA3303A

and RSA3308A Real-Time Spectrum Analyzers perform as warranted.

STOP

. These procedures extend the confidence level provided by the basic

procedures described on page 4--3. Perform the basic procedures first and then
perform the following procedures if desired.

There are two types of performance tests:

Auto Tests

and

Manual Tests

Auto Tests

use internal routines to verify that the analyzer functions properly

and was adjusted properly.

Manual Tests

supplement the Auto Tests to verify the analyzer performance

formally and report the test records.
