Installation

Using e*Scope

e*Scope lets you access any Internet-connected DPO4000 or MSO4000 series oscilloscope from a browser on your workstation,
PC, or laptop computer. No matter where you are, your oscilloscope is as close as the nearest browser.

To set up e*Scope communications between your oscilloscope and a Web browser running on a remote computer:

1.

Connect the oscilloscope to your computer
network with the appropriate Ethernet cable.

If you are connecting directly to your computer,
you need a Crossover Ethernet Cable. If you are
connecting to a network or a hub you need a
Straight Through Ethernet Cable.
