Caution! Hydraulic oil leakage may be strong enough to penetrate the skin
and cause serious injuries to health. Oil leakage through a tiny hole may seem
invisible. Use a piece of cardboard or wood instead of your hand to check a
possible leakage.
Keep unprotected parts of the body
such as your face, eyes and arms as far as
possible from a suspected leak. A splash
of hydraulic oil can even cause gangrene
or other maladies.
In case of such kind of accidents or any
other, consult a physician immediately.
If such doctor does not possess proper
knowledge of this kind of problem, ask
for a referral or search to find the proper
treatment.
Maintenance precautions
NOTE
Always use TATU original parts only.
General inspections
• Check the tightness of nuts and bolts daily. Also check the tightness of the retaining
rings, which hold the pins in the bushings.
• Before starting to work, do a general inspection in every component of the backhoe.
• Never move the equipment while it is in movement. Lock it, activate the parking
brake, lower the bucket and the stabilizer arms before carrying out any maintenance
job.
• Do not repair the hydraulic system while it is under pressure or the cylinders are
under load. This behaviour may cause severe accidents.
• Follow the maintenance and repair plans in order to keep the equipment in safe
working conditions.
