Adjustments and operations
Special applications:
Trenching between a building and an open excavation.
Start the trench at the building and trench toward the open excavation. Dig toward
the open excavation until there is just enough room to move the unit out from between the
trench and open excavation.
Position the unit so the backhoe swing post is over the center line of the trench
connection. Dig with the backhoe at extreme swing positions, and in as close to the
stabilizers as possible. Pile the soil on the opposite side of the trenches.
