Adjustments and operations
The finishing at the bottom of the digging should be done only when the sides of the
ditch are completed. This is done with long and shallow cuttings, being careful to make
them leveled and flat. Check out the bottom to measure the depth and the leveling, carrying
out any required cutting adjustment.
The basic points described here are the same, regardless of the digging. All other
digging jobs are simple variations of these basic procedures. Remember to make the cuttings
in smooth cycles. This reduces the operator tiredness and the wear of the equipment, while
increasing productivity and work efficiency at the same time.
