Oil tank
7. Adjustments and operations
For the equipments with oil tank that lubricates the transmission chains by drops or a
continuous flow and thus maintain the transmission system in ideal working conditions. To
activate the lubrication system of the oil tank, proceed as follows:
- Before starting the job, open the rear lid (A) to reach the oil tank (B) and remove the
side protections (C). Open the plug (D) on the lower part of the tank. This plug (D) can be
always opened;
- The plugs (E) can be adjusted to release drops or to a continuous flow;
- After the adjustments, place the protections (C) again and close the lid (A) to avoid
damages to the equipment.

NOTE
- Before filling up or replacing the oil on the tank (B), be sure that the harvester and
corn head are shut down.
ATTENTION
- The oil tank (B) has a capacity of
2
to
3
liters.
- Use the specified oil only:
SAE 90
oil.
- Periodically check the oil level of the oil tank (B) through the cap (F).
- When using a determined type of oil, do not mix it with other brands and specifications.
