6. Set-up instructions
Procedures to change the spacing
To change the spacing, the maintenance crew must choose a flat and clean place and
then support the equipment over trestles, being them distributed along the equipment length.
To change the spacing, proceed as follows:
- Use the center of the equipment as a reference and slide the row units to the position
that will get the desired spacing;
- Loosen up the lateral lid (A) that is fastened by bolts (B) and spring washers;
- Loosen up the chain tightener (C)
so it is possible to remove the chain from
its position;
- Remove the sprocket (D) by loosening
up the bolt (E), pin, spring washer and flat
washer (F);

ATTENTION
- Repeat the process on the other side of the equipment.
